The Lean WiN Book Club was created in 2017 as a program exclusively available to Women in NRCS (WiN) members. The Book Club name, "Lean WiN", originated from Sheryl Sandberg's book "Lean In", which was also selected to be the first book to kick off Lean WiN discussions. The Lean WiN Book Club chose this name to mirror, reflect, and compliment WiN's mission to provide women with training, opportunities, and mentoring to develop into their fullest professional potential.
