Hello, I'm E'Lisa Moss!
I am E'lisa Moss and would like to nominate myself for the Midwest Regional Representative position. I am a Registered Nurse turned Soil Conservationist, working in Missouri at the Urban Hub STL office. I am passionate about NRCS's work because it aligns with my values, skills and the urgent need for environmental sustainability. The focus on environmental stewardship, natural resource conservation, improved health and nutrition, and economic development of unserved and underserved communities reflects a holistic approach to addressing the pressing global challenges we face today. And I'm interested to contribute to addressing these challenges however I can. I am the best candidate for the position because I am a leader, dependable, an advocate for environmental justice and women empowerment. I am also skilled in communication, problem solving, relationship building, and motivating myself and others.
