Lacy Fallon
Northern Plains Regional Representative

THE northern plains REPRESENTATIVE COVERS North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, kansas, Montana, Wyoming, and colorado.

Hi, my name is Lacy Fallon

Since starting with NRCS in 2016, I've worked in three states in various capacities, including a Soil Conservationist, District Conservationist and currently as an Area Resource Conservationist in Hutchinson, Kansas. As someone who has a passion for policy and assisting field offices deliver the best technical and programmatic services possible to our customers, my current position has been extremely rewarding and fulfilling. I am also the Veterans and Disability Special Emphasis Program Manager for Kansas and enjoy helping to address the unique concerns of these groups in achieving diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity within NRCS.

WiN has provided me with opportunities to network, assist with the development of informative events, and experience continual learning with other women (and men!) who share a passion for women working in natural resources. From the times that I have assisted with planning committees, attended WiN cultivated workshops, to regional WiN calls, each and every experience has helped me grow, sharpen leadership skills, and build a network of individuals that I can rely on for the rest of my career. I am running for Northern Plains Regional Representative to take my contributions and development to the next level and give back to an organization that has afforded me so many opportunities to grow in both my professional and personal life. I look forward to being apart of this organization as it continues to grow and be a place where women in natural resources are promoted, supported, and celebrated!
